RelayDesk MCP
RelayDesk is a hosted, OAuth-protected MCP server that lets supported AI assistants work with Windows, macOS, and Linux computers, servers, and VMs that you explicitly pair.
MCP endpoint
https://relay-desk-mjq6.vercel.app/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP
Authentication: OAuth
What it can do
After you sign in to RelayDesk and pair a device, supported AI clients can use the permitted RelayDesk tools to work with real machine state, including files, commands, logs, processes, and troubleshooting workflows.
RelayDesk is designed around explicit pairing and authenticated access rather than an anonymous remote shell.
Connect from an MCP client
Add RelayDesk as a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server using the endpoint above. On first connection, your client should open the RelayDesk OAuth authorization flow in the browser.
Example configuration for clients that accept a remote URL:
{
"mcpServers": {
"relaydesk": {
"url": "https://relay-desk-mjq6.vercel.app/mcp"
}
}
}
No API key should be pasted into configuration files. Authentication happens through OAuth.
Setup
- Create or sign in to your RelayDesk account.
- Pair the Windows, macOS, or Linux computer, server, or VM you want to use.
- Add the hosted MCP endpoint to your compatible AI client.
- Complete RelayDesk OAuth when the client opens the authorization page.
- Use the permitted tools from the AI conversation.

Repository scope
This repository is the public integration/discovery package for RelayDesk's hosted MCP service. It intentionally does not contain the RelayDesk backend, dashboard, control plane, or native agent source code.
